Refund and cancellation
Applies to the Tech Spend Diagnostic and the Business Systems Blueprint.
Ongoing FinOps Leadership is billed monthly in advance. It runs for an initial three month term, then month to month until either side gives 30 days written notice. Fees already paid are not refunded on a notice termination. Full detail is in section 12 of the terms of service.
The Tech Spend Diagnostic is a fixed scope engagement. Findings are delivered within ten business days of the later of the kickoff call or the date read-only access to the required systems is granted.
The Business Systems Blueprint follows the same delivery, cancellation, rescheduling, and access terms on this page. The findings commitment applies to the Tech Spend Diagnostic only.
Before the kickoff call you may cancel for any reason and receive a full refund. Email mk@emmekayeconsulting.com and I will return it the same business day.
After the kickoff call the fee is non-refundable, because the analysis begins with the data pull.
The findings commitment. If the completed diagnostic does not identify at least $19,000 in annualized recoverable spend, the full fee comes back to you, either as a refund or as a credit against the first month of Ongoing FinOps Leadership with EmmeKaye Consulting. You choose which.
Annualized recoverable spend means the twelve month cost reduction identified in the findings, calculated from your own billing and contract data at the rates in effect on the delivery date. It counts identified opportunity, not realized savings, and it does not depend on you implementing any recommendation.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method and take 5 to 10 business days to appear.
Rescheduling
Kickoff calls can be rescheduled at no cost with at least 24 hours notice, using the link in your confirmation email. Inside 24 hours, email me and I will find a new time.
If access is delayed
The delivery clock starts when read-only access is granted. If access has not landed within ten business days of the kickoff call, either of us may cancel the engagement and the full fee is refunded.

Privacy
What is collected on this site, why, and what happens to it.
What is collected
- Contact form. Your name, email, and whatever you write. Handled by Formspree and delivered to my inbox.
- Booking. Your name, email, and intake form answers when you schedule a call. Handled by Acuity Scheduling.
- Payment. Billing name, email, address, and the details you enter at checkout. Handled entirely by Stripe. Card and bank account numbers never reach me or this site.
- Scorecard. Your answers, role, monthly spend tier, and company type as you complete the Margin Recovery Scorecard. Answers are sent as you go, before you give any contact details. If you ask for MK’s notes, your name, email, and company are added. Handled by Netlify Forms and stored in a private Google Sheet, with an email notification sent to me.
- Analytics. Usage data through Google Analytics, including pages viewed, buttons clicked, the spend tier picked in the calculator, and general location. No attempt is made to identify individual visitors.
- Advertising measurement. The Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag record visits to this site so I can measure ads and show ads to people who have visited. Meta and LinkedIn may connect this to your accounts on their platforms, under their own privacy policies.
- Email. Your address and our correspondence, if you subscribe or write to me.
How it is used
To answer you, to run engagements you have booked, to send what you asked for, and to understand which pages are useful. Nothing else.
What is never done with it
Your information is not sold, rented, or traded. It is not shared with anyone outside the processors listed above, except where the law requires it.
Client systems and billing data
During an engagement I access client billing and contract data under read-only permissions. That data is covered by the confidentiality and data handling sections of the terms of service, which are stricter than this page. In short, access is read only, nothing is modified, data is held only as long as the engagement needs it, and it is deleted within 30 days of delivery unless you ask me to retain it.
Cookies
This site uses cookies for analytics through Google Analytics and for advertising measurement through Meta and LinkedIn. Your information is never sold. You can block cookies in your browser, or turn off ad personalization in your Meta and LinkedIn settings, and the site will still work.
Your choices
You can ask what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email mk@emmekayeconsulting.com and I will act within 30 days. I extend the rights California’s privacy law describes to everyone, regardless of where you are.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
Insurance
What is carried, and how to get the certificate.
EmmeKaye Consulting LLC carries professional liability insurance, also called errors and omissions coverage, written on a claims made basis and in force.
- Professional liability (E&O), $1,000,000 per claim and $1,000,000 aggregate.
This is a live certificate hosted by the carrier, so it always reflects current coverage rather than a snapshot that goes stale at renewal.
If your vendor onboarding needs a certificate naming your company as certificate holder, email mk@emmekayeconsulting.com and it comes back the same business day.
